ABOUT US

Lekabe Engineering Services and Projects (Pty) Ltd (Lekabe) is an emerging and wholly female-owned engineering company that serves clients from different economic sectors in South Africa, including mining, manufacturing and local municipalities. Apart from the desire to create and nurture a black-owned commercial enterprise in the engineering sector, the promoter of Lekabe, a female with extensive experience and formal training in the mining industry, sought to carve a niche in a previously male-dominated sector.

Founded in 2015, the company’s facility is strategically located in Zinniaville, Rustenburg, in close proximity to the mining hub of the North West Province. With a level 1 Broad – Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) rating, Lekabe has built a team of professionals that is dedicated to fulfilling the firms vision of becoming a partner of choice in the provision of technical services and selected products. Unlike traditional engineering firms, Lekabe is focused on developing lasting relationships, combining all its critical skills to provide clients with custom-tailored solutions that are cost effective and sustainable. The company strives to be both an employer and service provider of choice, successfully bringing together professionals whose collective experiences and diverse backgrounds are capable of matching the challenges encountered by clients.
